The District’s rental condo-style apartments are equipped with modern units carefully finished with high-quality materials. Our approach favours a dynamic lifestyle and services that allow for greater freedom. Whether you need an apartment with or without health care services, all units were built with the same high standard of quality and design.

The District’s Phase 3 is designed for residents ages 50 and over who do not need health care and other services. Furthermore, all common areas are accessible for daily social and active living. The following amenities are available to all tenants of the District’s Phase 3:

• Access to group activities
• Access to all common areas

The District’s Phase 1 and Phase 2 offer apartment units with health care services for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors. These two phases are certified as a retirement home. A unique opportunity for retired seniors to live in a modern all-inclusive apartment:

What is the difference between the apartments and retirement apartments?
Phase 3 is not certified or regulated by the Health Department. It is an apartment building without health care services. However, tenants can get a housekeeping package at an additional cost. On the other hand, Phases 1 and 2 are certified as private retirement homes and include health care services.
Am I eligible for the retirement home tax credit?
Yes, if you are over the age of 70, however, as Phase 3 is not certified by the Health Department, we cannot apply on your behalf. Therefore, you must contact either the government or your accountant to inform you of how much you are entitled to.
Do I have the right to have a pet?
Yes, the only requirement for pets is that they are no larger than 25 lbs or 15 inches in height.
Is there a dining room or restaurant?
The Bistro is a restaurant with an à la carte menu that changes seasonally. You can buy meal cards or have your meals delivered to your apartment. You can also receive guests or organize private events at the Bistro. See the Bistro section for more information on our meals.
Do I have access to amenities and events?
Yes, Phase 3 tenants have access to all the same amenities and events as tenants living in the retirement apartments (Phases 1 and 2).
What is a certified private retirement home?
Phases 1 and 2 are certified as private retirement homes and comply with the Seniors’ Private Residency Certification Regulations. These retirement phases are therefore certified by the Health Department and provide health care services, including the assistance of nurses, orderly, housekeeping, and give access to a tax credit. Phase 3, however, is not certified as a retirement home and does not offer any health care services.
Am I eligible for the retirement home tax credit?
Yes, anyone 70 years of age or older is eligible for the tax credit. For more information, please contact us and we will be pleased to assist you and inform you of how much you are entitled to.
Is the rent the same for one or two people?
Yes, the price is fixed according to the type of apartment rather than the number of people living in it, so the rent cost is the same for one or two people.
Do we have the right to have a pet?
Yes, pets are allowed, however, dogs up to 25 lbs or 15 inches are allowed only in Phase 2.
Do you offer meal packages for the Bistro?
Yes, as a tenant of a certified retirement home, we offer meal packages with the lease that is eligible for the home tax credit. We also offer meal card packages for 5 and 30 meals. You also have the option to purchase meals individually.

The Bistro is a restaurant offering an à la carte menu that changes seasonally. You can purchase meal cards or include them in your lease to receive a discount. You may also receive guests or organize receptions at the Bistro.

The Bistro is a restaurant offering an à la carte menu that changes seasonally. The menu is also different for lunch and dinner.
Do you have à la carte packages?
Yes, we offer meal cards with various packages. Package meals are therefore cheaper, and you can also include your meals in your lease (only Phases 1 and 2) for an additional discount.
Is the Bistro currently open?
Yes, for tenants and their guests only.
Is there any entertainment at the Bistro?
Yes, we organize themed dinners monthly with a set menu that often includes  entertainment such as music, dance performances, and more.
